The great Canadian OPD scam

Close your eyes for a moment and lets imagine you have a major life incident and you end up in financial trouble and there is no way you can repay what you owe.  You consult expert advice and they tell you that you can either enter into big, bad bankruptcy or you can do the honorable thing which is repay your debts in an orderly way with court protection, an OPD. (orderly payment of debts)  Well, being a good person with strong morals and wanting to do the right thing, the OPD sounds like a great idea however it is now time to OPEN YOUR EYES and see the full picture.
